The Francesco Gonzaga Diocesan Museum collects significant and precious works of art – paintings, sculptures, goldsmiths, fabrics, illuminated books, ceramics, ivories and even weapons and armor – and carries out work of protection, conservation and promotion of Mantua’s ecclesiastical heritage.
